If you see my facebook status right now, I can tell you that it doesn't lie. I have been going to different departments looking at the opportunities I will have as a graduate student. There is an offer that I have thought about doing since before I started school and there is one that would be an amazing masters level endorsement to have. One is 64 credit hours because I would have to have another special education teaching license. The other is 30 credit hours because I wouldn't need another license. But both would get me a M.Ed. degree.
The first option is a M.Ed. in special education with an emphasis on students with severe disabilities and special education licensure. The second option is a M.Ed. in instructional design and educational technology. The first would be something that I hold in my heart, but I don't see myself teaching in a sole special education classroom. The second is something that makes me more money and is easily integrated into a science classroom. Of course I am not 100% sure that a masters is even something that I am supposed to do, but it is something that I have dreamed of doing for a long time.
I write this because I think I need some outside advice to which degree people who I have so selectively chosen to read this blog think would be in my better interest. I would be graduating either degree at the same time that Endrit would be graduating with his PhD in May 2012. So, What do you think?

Since you went private, it doesn't show that there are any updates, and I have forgotten to look you up to see if you had updates. Duh! I guess I didn't realize that it wouldn't tell me there was something new. Anyway, I read through them all and found out all sorts of things I didn't know. You will know what to do. You have had some other things that you were thinking of doing. You will know what you should do and when you should do them. I masters would be really great for you. Timing is a consideration, but I have every confidence that you will know what to do and when to do it.
I think that if it gives you warm fuzzies, as you said in your last post than that is a good sign. After all, I think that is a better description than "burning in your bosom" for me, anyway.
I don't know about which program you should chose. I'm not sure I understand what all is involved in either. I'll have to read through it again.
Good luck with it honey! (I need to check for updates on your blog more often too!)
