Now as an adult, I love conference. I admit that I didn't like it as a kid. It was a bunch of old me and women talking about things that "didn't apply to me". Oh I wish I knew then what I know now. I really liked this particular conference. I believe the Sunday afternoon session was my favorite, but that may be because I was at the conference center. The spirit is so strong there. Dallin H. Oak's talk was my favorite of that session. President Monson's talk in the end of Sunday morning might be my overall favorite. I am glad that I was able to go to the conference center. It had a lot about temples and my in-laws were there. I still don't think that they will be going through the temple for themselves any time soon, but I hope that the spirit spoke to them as it did for me. I couldn't hardly sing the congregation song because the spirit was so strong.

We had great seats. We sat on the side of the conference center that the Prophet comes in on. It is amazing the spirit that is there when the Prophet comes in and 40,000 people get silent in about 2 seconds. We were not in the first horseshoe area, but 4th row of the second. (Where the white box is) We got there an hour early to get those seats, but we got them and enjoyed our time. I thought that we were going to be much further back.
It was amazing. I learned a lot from the wonderful general authorities. We barely caught the train to get there. It was just great. I love seeing all of the lds people on the streets. I saw the Binghams as well. Out of thousands, I saw people I knew. I hope that everyone gets a chance to go to the confernce center for conference once in their life. I will try and get tickets for those who want them.
