Conference and Scuba Diving

This weekend was fun. I went to watch one of Rick's classes scuba dive. While I was there, I learned that around Thanksgiving time, I will be a certified or on the road to be a certified scuba diver. I have wanted to take this class from Rick for a long time but with school I haven't had the time to just stay in Idaho for a while. I will have to do most of the stuff homestudy, but that means that I will have toe to do it! I am excited about it. Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, I will most likely be in the pool doing practice dives. I am not sure when Rick was going to do open water dives but when that happens, I will go. Hopefully Endrit and I will be able to go on a vacation at some time where we will be able to utilize this skill.

Conference was really good as well. I love our dear prophet. He spoke amny things that I needed to hear. There was a great talk about celestial marriage and the ways in which people choose which marriage to take upon themselves, whether celestial or a lesser one with no promise after death. It makes me really glad that Endrit and I were able to be married in the temple and that there is a way to "upgrade" marriages if a lesser choice was made to begin with. This was a good talk for me because I am really hoping that Endrit's parents will be able to go to the temple and be sealed to eachother and to Endrit. It would be a very interesting ceremony. I am hoping that it happens within a year from now. I really want Endrit to talk to them about it, but there is a whole respect your elders thing that he thinks bars him from trying to convince them that it is a good thing. Who knows. It is a nice thing sometimes to give people a little push towards progression.

I had a good weekend. I am ready for school this week. It isn't fun, but I am ready for it to be here. If it is here, it will be over faster and I can get onto the next semester. It is always good to be busy.
