Sharing Time

I have to do sharing time this Sunday. I like to do sharing time. I do like that since it is such a small primary we don't separate into older and younger kids during sharing time. This cuts out half of the times that we have to do sharing time. 2 times a year is more than do-able.

This month it was on baptism. My lesson will be on the faith needed before you get baptized. I am big on around the world acceptance and knowledge so I always bring in stories from around the world.

I was looking up ideas online ( I <3 Google) and LDS living had a great idea. There were 8 stories from children around the world as they were preparing to get baptized. It not only tells about the baptism experience, but tells about the culture and the child. I did some scrapping and made some cute cards with the stories on the back.

I really have enjoyed making this lesson. Endrit will also tell about himself and how he had the faith to get baptized. (I haven't told him yet :-P) I think that the kids will have fun. I will tape all of these to a world map to show where in the world these places are. We will talk about how far away these places are from us too. I am excited.

That is an awsome sharing time idea. I think my class has to do it again in August.
