This weekend was pretty fun. We were able to go to an area where we helped with the training on high speed cameras. I shot both rifle and pistols, but I have to say I fell in love with the SKS (AK 47's older brother the 45). It was really fun and here are a couple of pictures of a frame capture. The picture at the top is the one of the SKS. I was able to shoot a watermellon (not captured being shot, and an apple (which was captured but I will have to learn how to download it to the blog). All of these were captured at 12,000 frames/second. It was a really fun day and I turned into a lobster but that is ok by me. The rifle I was using in the second picture (below) I can't remeber what it was. If you look close, you can see the puff of air/smoke and the bullet out of the barrel. I just thought people would like to see these.

Looks like a lot of fun. I like shooting guns too. I bought a .22 cal while on r and r. Heidi loves to shoot it because it is quiet and fun.
