Final Exam Score

I thought that I would be able to get my exam score today. I was sad because I didn't get the test back in class today so I was just waiting until it posted online. I knew that it would be posted by 3:00 pm. So Endrit got home from school around 5. I cooked pasta for dinner. Did my daily rif-raf on the computer then decided to check and see my posted grade. I went to Webassign where all the grades are stored. I see my grade and it was 8 points higher than I expected. The test was worth 250 points. I got a 158. I know that doesn't seem like a good score at all...actually it is only a 63%. I was happy with this but I had to go to the class webpage to see how that score faired against the average on the histogram that they make of all the scores. The average was a 140 or 56%!! That means I got 7 % higher than the average. This means that I am almost certian I have a B+ if not an A-. I have to wait till tomorrow or the next day to get my actual grade but getting higher than the average is really something that I wanted to do with the final exam. It means that I am doing pretty well with learning the material. I am hopeful for the next 5 weeks. It isn't all that bad after all...you have got to love the curves in University. If they didn't exist, no one would get good grades...well almost no one. There are some crazy people out there that are too smart for their own good. I just thought I would share the news :)
