In our apartment complex there were two apartments that had people who smoked in them. It wasn't too fun because they would smoke on the steps by our apartment and it would stink! They finally were told to smoke either on the sidewalk or in the parking lot, not within 25 feet of the entrances to the apartments. This was an awesome rule! We rather enjoyed that. We found out a couple of weeks ago that the people in both of those apartments decided that they were moving out by the end of May. Well guess what today is! May 31. Both apartments are empty and it is now a completely smoke free complex. They won't take any people that smoke anymore. So it is pet yes, smoking no. My perfect place. Our landlords are really nice and sincere. They do care and will be understanding to a point. Endrit and I have always been good tenants and we hope to remain that way for the next 3-4 years so that our rent won't increase. I guess that you can only hope. Dexter still loves it here because of the wall of floor to ceiling windows that he can look out of whenever he wants and the perfect sunbathing corner. Spoiled kitty.
I cleaned today. It was something that needed to be done. I swear that because of school my house only gets cleaned once a week. It is bad, but that is what happens when every waking moment is spent on physics or a plethora of other classes. It is amazing how the whole apartment opens up when it is organized. With the 3 weeks of summer that I will have I think that I will do some "spring" cleaning and de-clutter the place for things that I moved but have yet to use while living here. Endrit is a bit of a pack rat so sometimes I need to have some things just get misplaced...Fun for me.
