A day off

Memorial day is a great day to remember the people who have passed on. I love that there is a day like this. I also like that it gives me a good day off of school. This summer I have definitely needed a day off to catch up on learning the material. I know that I need to do well enough in the class to pass. I believe that I need to at least get a C. I am trying to do better than that, but I think that most general classes are so broad that they are hard. Even geology was like that, but when I got into specifics, it wasn't so bad...time consuming, but not bad. I am mostly getting the information that I need, but sometimes it is a little fuzzy, and a week to learn everything and take a test on it is taxing to anyone's brain power. I am hoping to at least keep all of my scores above average which I have been able to do so far...then again I have only gotten the score back on one test. I will have to wait until Tuesday to get the second test score. If I get above average on each test it is an automatic B- no matter what. That is a good grade to me. After 4 years of school, knowing that you have 3 left, you just hope to get good enough grades to get your degree and a good job afterwards. I know that is a cynical outlook, but what can you say I am pretty close to graduation that I am getting a bit of seinoritis...I am a senior so I guess that it is okay for me to get bouts of it sometimes just as long as it is not all the time. I am doing better but I am a little bit discouraged, but all I can do is study harder. Lovely.
