Ever since the first butterfly quilt that my mom made, I knew that I would want one for a baby girl. It was just too adorable!!! Well, here I am pregnant with a little girl and my parents in the middle of a move that is taking them half way across the country and I thought that it wasn't going to happen. I just randomly said how sad I was that I most likely wasn't going to get one yesterday when my mom and I were at Hobby Lobby in Joplin (which I am stunned wasn't destroyed by the tornado when almost everything else around it was). Well, this is what my mom and I did today...
So now, a day later, I have the start of an amazing butterfly quilt. It needs to have the back, batting, and binding put on as well as the quilting to be done by my Mom. It was really fun to help her out with the quilt that will be going to MY baby girl. I am in love.

It was a lot of fun. It's been a long time since we've done one together...and you even did half of the hand sewing!
