Home

Endrit and I have been looking for a place to buy for a few months now.  It has been disheartening at times because of the low budget that we have to be able to buy a home.  I have been periodically looking at the listings in the area that we were willing to look in and there was just nothing that we really liked and were willing to place an offer on.  That all changed 2 days ago.

I found a cute duplex in our price range in our location range too.  That is unheard of.  We went and looked at the property that day between me teaching and my class.  We placed an offer on it that night after my class.  We allowed the sellers to accept or reject our offer by 5 pm last night.  Well, we heard just after noon that they had a counter offer that we would accept.

So, last night we accepted the offer and we are under contract.  We should close by June 20th.  It has been interesting to go from not many things to being in the middle of financing a house  and graduate school.

It is a really cute duplex.  It is green!!  (as in the color green)  We seem to like green places to live as we haven't lived in a place that wasn't green since we have been married.

That is life as it stands right now.  We are getting all of our inspections done this week on the house.  We are finally entering the real "adult" world.
