Kansas

This last weekend we had LOTS of fun in Kansas at Brian and Amy's house for the Smith family reunion. None of my pictures are worth anything to the blog, so sorry no pictures.

The drive up took 16 hours. There was rain most of the way and a lot of hail that caused us to need to stop for a while. Endrit and I had England (my niece) most of the drive. She did good until it was midnight and couldn't sleep in her car seat. Grandma and Grandpa got her back after that. We got to Kansas at about 6:30 AM Kansas time. Slept in the car for a couple of hours then stayed up with the family. It was still a really fun day. The Smith family is a little crazy. We also climbed on the rock wall. I would have to say I like the little shoes and the auto-billet. I trust it much more than people. We got to camp outside the first night. It was nice. I like camping. It rained the next night so we couldn't.

I got extremely caked in mud day 2 because I was having more fun in the sand pile than most of the other kids. We went bowling for 2 hours and that was really fun. Endrit got yelled at twice. Not really yelled at, but "talked to". We shot the shotgun and made dry ice bombs. It was fun.

So the drive back to Utah was much easier. We only had about 1.5 hours of rain and it took us 14.5 hours to get home. I even drove part of the way. We picked up Dexter, who was really happy to see us and went home.

I still have to empty out the trunk of the car and do my laundry. It was a fun vacation, but it is always good to be home.
