Housewife/School

Through this summer, even though I have classes, I am pretty much a housewife. I have been able to read the Ensign. I haven't been able to do that for a really long time. All of the laundry is getting done. I am able to vacuum. I am quite a fan of this. I still have at least 3 hours of housework before I am done and that will be just in time for me to start dinner.

I like this housewife thing. It is kinda sad because it will only be for this summer then I will practically be working for Fall semester and then Spring semester I will be at school all day. It is fuzzy after that as I will be in my Masters, but, I am sure that it doesn't have me being a housewife. I guess the grass is greener on the other side. I am just glad that I get to experience it for the summer even if I won't experience it again for a few more years.

There was another realization that I made yesterday with regards to school. I have found that my favorite way to take classes is short and intense. Granted this is for easy classes with regards to the 6 week classes that I take in the summer, but I prefer 12 week semesters. You could have 4 "semesters" a year rather than just 3. Look how much easier it would be to graduate. This is my personal opinion and learning style. Physics would be great in 12 weeks rather than 16. It is 4 weeks less of the Hell some classes have. I have enjoyed both summer semesters I have taken and that is why I believe it works for me. No wonder I Loved A semester B semester of Williams rather than the full year classes of Preston.

Years ago, when I was just a 'home maker', I like that better than 'housewife'; it was great. I really enjoyed ironing your dad's clothes when he worked at Golfland. Surprisingly enough, it was one of my most favorite things to do. I wish I could go back to that again....not quite yet.
