7 wants

1.  The school year to end.  It will eventually end but I really want it to end NOW!

2.  A prenatal massage/chiropractic appointment.

3.  Lots of fresh flowers.  Preferably red roses.

4.  My own iPad that I don't have to give back to the school.

5.  A maternity photo shoot.

6.  A job for Endrit so we know where and when we are moving.

7.  A maid.  I hate cleaning.  H-A-T-E cleaning while pregnant especially.  I thought I was going to die today while packing my winter and non maternity clothing.

Bonus...I was going to put this figurine on my list.

But, Endrit in seeing me look at it told me to buy it!  I love my husband so much!  It is in addition to what he bought me for our wedding.

8 Fears

1. Another miscarriage...or stillbirth.

2. Heights.  I have gotten better, but it still terrifies me.

3. Crowds in some instances.  It got bad enough to need medication...I miss my xanax sometimes.

4. Failure.  I try to do my best in all that I do.  Sometimes, like the end of this year, I feel like I have failed.  And that is hard.

5.  Alzheimer's disease.  I never want to forget my life while I am still living it.

6. Spiders.  Not as bad as some people, but my students have heard me scream before.

7. Not being able to breathe. With the little bit of asthma and allergies I have had, I know how it can be hard to breathe.  That would be a terrible way to die.

8. Making new friends.  That is really hard for me with my anxiety.  I have a feeling that I will like my ward right when I am going to move.  Bummer.

19 weeks

How far along? 19 weeks

Baby is the size of a:  Mango (~6 inches crown to rump. ~.5 lb)

Total weight gain/loss:  -8 lbs (+1 lb)

Sleep:  Can't sleep on my back at all. My legs go numb if I try.  Can't sleep on my stomach either.

Best moment this week:  We found out the gender of little geeklet!  She is a healthy little girl!

Movement: Flips, rolls, kicks...I feel most of them.

Food cravings/aversions:  Chinese food cravings.  Meat aversions...go figure.

What I miss:  sleeping on my stomach

What I am looking forward to:  Hitting 20 weeks...the supposed 1/2 way point.

Milestones:  We found out baby is a girl!  Great milestone there!

Symptoms:  Rib pain...baby girl has decided to park near my ribs when I sit down now.

9 Loves

1. First and foremost I love Endrit.  There is no doubt about that.  I will make this one family and include Marsi too.

2. Tea.  I have always liked tea so it was easy for me to start drinking the pregnancy mix that my midwife (and mom) suggested.

3. My kitties.  I could have included them in family, but they deserve their own.  They can  be crazy, and get me angry, but I would totally save them in a fire.

4. Learning.  I love going to school, or reading resource books, or surfing the web.  I will always be learning!

5. Nerdy TV.  I absolutely love science related tv shows.  I guess that is why I like qubo and Big Bang Theory.

6. Carbohydrates.  I love bread, pasta, potatoes.  I would be so sad to not be able to eat those.

7. Naps. Honestly, who doesn't love naps?

8. My diva cup. I won't explain that other than it is so awesome.

9. Sunscreen.  I love that there is something that will keep me from burning all the time; especially now summer is upon us.

Marsela Luljeta Shurdha

That is right folks!  We are going to be having an adorable baby girl!  It was a shock to me, but after that shock, I couldn't be more excited!  I am not a huge fan of pink, but we will do well with her.  Here are some of her first pictures!

10 secrets

1. Most of my favorite Hollywood actors have turned out to be gay men.  A weird secret to have, but it is true.  Even my celebrity crushes in middle and high school turned out to be gay.

2. There are some students that I truly hate.  Not dislike.  Not they annoy me. I hate them.

3. I am terrified of being a stay at home mom.  I am so used to being up and around with school or work, I don't know how I will handle being home, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids.  But, it is what I know that I want to do this.

4. I hate milk.  I have since we got off the dairy.  I can't stand it and I never even want to have it on cold cereal...or with cookies.

5. I feel like a cyber stalker sometimes.  I love blog reading.  I don't stalk people I have personally met or know, but others I can't get enough of their stories and excellent writing.

6.  Pregnancy isn't as awful as I thought it was going to be.  I have been sick, but functional.  I felt the baby move starting at 13 weeks and it is amazing to see my little one grow.

7. I love to dream.  I have a lot of dreams and a lot that I have accomplished.  I don't regret not finishing my schooling for my Masters, but I know that I WILL go back to school and get it; if not my PhD.

8. I have extremely vivid dreams that I remember since I can remember.  It is kind of weird that I am able to dream and remember them.  Like last night...my parents were setting me up to marry a hunchback Igor...Huh I wonder what that interpretation is?

9.  I read my horoscope every day.  Not that it influences my decisions, but it is fun to read them.

10. I feel spirits around me.  It is a very personal one, but it is amazing and I have received so much support through this gift that I can't even express it.
