Over the last week I have decided I would jump on the Twilight saga band wagon and read all the books. I am a fan of fantasy so I thought warewolves and vampires would be up my alley. So, I have seen the movie from the first book and it wasn't a horrible story-line. Actually in all honesty, I enjoyed the movie more once I read the book.
The second book, rubbed me the wrong way. I am not really a fan of Jacob. 2 years younger and much less mature. I have to say that once the vampires were back in the story, it was better.
Third book, a little dry, a little gruesome and over the top. Too much fighting over the female lead. I was glad that the last vampire trying to kill the human was destroyed.
Forth book, my favorite of the books. It was nice to see her actually turned into a vampire.
I wasn't too impressed. I think that I will stick to the movies. I have read them. Now I am trying to figure out the books I will read the 3 weeks I have off of school. I have read SO many books this summer. So...I say, don't waste your time reading twilight. It was an easy read. It was a very sappy romance(ish) novel. I don't know why it is a bestseller.

I don't think they will ever be on my reading list. Just have never gotten into vampires or werewolves. I like grittier stuff...probably not the best, but it's what I like.
