Bikes

Endrit decided that he had gone long enough without a bike to get to and from school/work (same difference). It had been a good 2 years so I don't blame him for wanting one now. So we decided it was time to buy a bike and went to the not so local Layton DI. Endrit got a really nice bike. It didn't need too much work done on it. Then, me being the procrastinator and sick and tired when we went into the DI in the first place said that I wanted one too. Endrit being the sweetheart that he is, went back to said Layton DI because he had seen one there that would be perfect for me.

He fixed it all up (it needed a new break) and I rode it to and from my class today. I can definitely tell that I will be losing a few lbs with these bike rides. We are determined to at least ride around the block on the weekends as well. We have both gotten...fluffy...since our wedding. Mine was medical while his was "sympathy weight" for me. Funny person. So now I am home, procrastinating the finishing of my paper and telling you about my bike. It was an interesting uphill battle. I thought that I was going to die, and even walked the bike a bit because I was starting to have a little bit of asthma. Sad times. On the way downhill, I almost crashed, but I didn't and I am proud of myself. It has really good shocks on the front so if I just stand up a bit over bumps I don't even feel it. It was the first bike ride I have had in years. I feel like a kid again with a backpack. He he. I really do love it.
